How to arrive in Florence

Tourists who plan their holiday in Florence, could reach the city in different ways ...

By car

Florence is situated in the centre of Italy. it is connected to highways 2: A11 and A1 and other main roads as the "Fi-Pi-Li" (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) or the "Florence - Siena".

From Milan, the best way to arrive in Florence is the A1-Bologna-Florence, exit Firenze Nord, then follow for the city center.

From Genoa or France, take the A12 to Viareggio, and follow the A11 to Florence, exit Firenze Nord.

From Rome, take the A1 "Rome - Milan", exit "Firenze Sud", and follow the signs for the city center.

By train

Station of Santa Maria Novella.

Trains also make stops at other Florentine stations : Firenze Rifredi, Firenze Campo di Marte, Firenze Signa.
