For centuries it has been called "Mercatale in Greve", because it was the seat of the market, located near the waterway Greve.

Propositura of Santa Croce

It is located where in the past there was a small chapel; it reflects the taste of the classic style of the restoration period.
Inside you can admire various works including the Triptych with Madonna and child with Saints by Lorenzo di Bicci, the Annunciation, by the Florentine school of the fourteenth century and a wooden crucifix attributed to Santi Buglioni.

Pieve di San Leolino

The church, known since the tenth century as Pieve di San Leolino a Flacciano, today totally represents a building in Romanesque style where you can admire, on the right side, a cloister of the fourteenth century.

Pieve di San Cresci Pieve di San Cresci

Dedicated to one of the greatest evangelizers of the countryside of Florence, the church, of the twelfth century, is in Romanesque style.
The works contained in the church, have been placed in the Museum of Sacred Art of Greve.

Pieve di San Pietro in Sillano

This church combines 2 different styles: the Romanesque and the Lombard style. La chiesa fu confermata dopo l'844 ai vescovi di Fiesole dai Pontefici Pasquale II e Innocenzo II. After 844, the church was assigned to the bishops of Fiesole by Pope Pasquale II and Pope Innocent II.

Mugnana Castle

At the beginning the castle was property of Amidei, and later belonged to the Florentine family of Bardi.
The main feature of the castle is its tower, that for military reasons, was reduced in height.
The castle and its walls dates the fourteenth century: the walls over the years have been restored several times.

Sezzate Castle

Even this castle belonged for a long time to the Bardi family.
The walls are formed by a series of buildings that make up the structure, while the tower is in its highest point.

Uzzano Castle

The walls of the castle have a rectangular shape. The tower and the walls, were built around the thirteenth century, and after the Ghibellines distroy them, they were built again.
